"The Condensed Shakespeare
Festival is a great way to experience a bunch of Shakespeare or works that
influenced Shakespeare with only half the dramatic calories.
In other words, they’ve cut out all the boring stuff and kept the action."
Clyde Berry, Associate Theatre Critic for
John Garcia's THE COLUMN

Lauren Morgan shines as Antigone’s frightened sister Ismene, bringing profundity and pathos to a role usually considered secondary. " M. Lance Lusk, Theater Jones, August 15, 2010
"Supporting Antigone in exploring her options is Ismene,
artfully executed by Lauren Morgan.
Morgan delivers the lines with a natural grace making them seem conversational
and less literary."
Clyde Berry, Associate Theatre Critic for John Garcia's THE COLUMN
"DeBorde stalks and menaces convincingly as a stubborn blowhard, showing impressive emotional range.
" M. Lance Lusk, Theater Jones, August 15, 2010
"Brad DeBorde excels as Kreon, using
is full stature and voice to stalk the space in a commanding fashion.
He exudes power, government, and authority and nicely debates his
seemingly few options his narrow mindedness will allow.
"Kierstin Curtis is solid as
Antigone, giving us a great mix of determination, stubbornness, and anxiety.
She makes difficult decisions and weighs her options well."
Clyde Berry, Associate
Theatre Critic for John Garcia's THE COLUMN
"Allen Walker has a delightfully
unexpected and creepy turn as Tieresias, and delivers a chilling monologue in
the strongest staging of the piece.
"Kirk Corley brings a weighty
reality to his role as the messenger.
